One J Custom already inbound from Japan and now this 7 from GC!   You're not helping matters for me.

DO IT! After I sold my herbert and henning I had excess gear fund sitting around...now how do I sneak in two guitars?
Get a couple low-end Ibbys from your favorite chain store that look somewhat similar to the ones you're getting, tell your SO how inexpensive they are, switch them with the inbound J Customs while returning the decoys. Bait and switch completed!

I'm lucky, my spousal unit likes my guitars (and even helps me pick them out).
When I bought my JC, she wanted to see all the pics before I pulled the trigger.

Mine would be okay normally had I not bought 3 guitars in 6 months including my recent JC.

Wonder if it was a temporary pricing error, the guitar is back at full price now.

Still showing $2K USD on my end.

Their system is so weird at GC. Front page shows 1999 but when you click it, it now shows the full price. MF still has the old price though. Oh well, my order got approved, hopefully they ship it soon!

My 6 string is in customs now, hopefully they don't sit on it too long

Oops, I was looking at MF not GC!

It would be awesome if you got both guitars on the same day!

Yeah, it could get a little hairy if I bought too many back to back.

Man I got a hard-on for a j-custom too, but I'm skeptical about the Edge-pro. Can anyone comment on how it compares to an original edge in terms of stability and range?

I've never played with the original Edge but I have the Edge Zero on a Prestige and my JC, both are smooth and rock solid and super easy to set up. The range is about the same as a typical Floyd, full dive bomb and rattle the strings if you want. The zero-return bar adds back-tension so if you tilt your guitar slightly then you won't change the pitch if set up correctly, although it does give a slight "snap" to the return after a down trem. If you don't like the way the zero-return feels, you can easily move the bar out of the way from the cavity on the trem cover for free floating or just remove the bar/springs altogether (you'd have to readjust the spring tension with the dial afterwards). It's hands down my favorite trem system. Also, the Prestige and up Edge Zeros have that built-in intonation screw that makes that annoying process much easier, no need for a 3rd party tool that doesn't stay put!

Crossing my fingers. It may actually happen depending on how long customs holds the one from Japan. Just received shipping confirmation from GC, its shipping San Francisco! I think shipping within the state takes only 1 - 2 days, should get the 7 string by early next week

Have you guys seen the JCRG13? These are nice :) Super expensive though

It's sitting at home at the moment. My fiance made sure to drag it in the house :) I'm still stuck at work at the moment, tax season blows. I'll post a pic and comparison to my RG1527 tomorrow hopefully!
