It's sitting at home at the moment. My fiance made sure to drag it in the house I'm still stuck at work at the moment, tax season blows. I'll post a pic and comparison to my RG1527 tomorrow hopefully!

Played it for half about an hour this morning before work. I am really digging the guitar. I had to set it up to my preference since the guitar came from Guitar Center. They somehow forgot to send me the multi-tool to unlock the clamps. After I set it up the guitar plays a lot better than my RG1527. I actually really like the Dimarzio PAF7 pickups. It's not a hot pickup compared to the crunchlab/liquifire I have but it seems pretty well balanced and there is a lot more clarity compared to my 1527. The fretwork is amazing on the guitar. The strings are set pretty low to the fretboard right now and legato style playing is super easy. The neck seems a bit flatter than my 1527 but plays a lot better, probably because I need to do a full setup on my RG1527 and fix the pickup height.

The tree of life is somewhat distracting but so far it hasn't affected my playing. I really dig how it looks though Anyone in the area is free to check it out. Can't wait to get the RG8570!

Spent all my time trying to setup the guitar but will try to get one up later tonight after work! One thing I hate about ordering from Guitar Center, even if it's brand new. Now I need to call them and have them send me that allen wrench multi-tool. Anyone know what that thing is called?

Also my pics probably won't do the guitar any justice since my room is so dark.

yes i first ordered the J-custom from Japan originally, which was the 6 string RG8570. Then that deal came up at Guitar Center where they had a 7 string J-custom for $1999 and 12 mo no int financing so I got that as well 7 string made it here in 2 days, still waiting on the one from Japan

Unfortunately work is the hold up After tomorrow i should be a lot more free now

Got the guitar on Friday, need to do a setup. The truss rod needs an adjustment. Sounds great though, not sure how I feel about the TZ in the bridge. Also had to lower the middle pickup a bit, was up too high and my pick kept hitting it Probably the reason why I always buyr HH guitars instead of HSH.

Crap..had the guitar for less than a few days and I already lost the certificate of authenticity. Put it on top of my car when I was unboxing the guitar and then forgot to take it down. Drove into work this morning and finally remembered when it was too late Probably sitting on the freeway somewhere now
