I was right about Headless guitars

"beta" as in a submissive, passive, feminine, subordinate male - contrast with "alpha", as in the leader, boss, masculine male

"begets soy" - soy is used as a derogatory term because eating large amounts of it raises the amount of estrogen in your hormones. In this case the lack of headstock "begets" or creates or leads to "soy" (or pussy, lame, effeminate)guitar playing

These are just the new-fangled ways of calling someone (or in this case, someones guitar playing) a "bitch," "faggot," "liberal," "pussy." etc

No shame in not knowing what the youngsters are saying, but in this case this is the slang of a couple generations ago (millennials) not the youngsters who would be saying "skibidi rizz ohio 67 toilet aura" or something like that
Thanks lol.

While we’re at it, I’ve always hated Cynic. The origin of nerd metal
I love Cynic. I just hate the stupid headless guitars. They sounded terrible live last I saw them too. I was disappointed. Kempers direct and silent stage sucks in a small venue with a shitty PA. They were indiscernable garbage for several songs. At least they all fit on the tiny stage with the lack of headstocks.

On the other hand, the Strandberg neck is a thing of beauty. That trapezoid carve is super comfortable and makes me completely rethink a round neck. If they made one with a pointy headstock, I would get one.

You take Ohio out of your fuckin mouth..............

😂

I think Strandberg guitars have good ergonomics and their small size makes them handy for traveling or just farting around the house. They even sound good from what I've heard.

But yeah they look dorky as hell and I wouldn't be caught dead playing one on stage.

They are pretty stupid looking. I’d never be able to play one well as I’d be concentrating on how gay I probably look playing it.

I played on a 8 string a few days ago. Fan frets, mahogany neck and body, ebony fretboard. I thought it played and sounded excellent. Tuning was standard with the low B and E. Very resonate. It stayed focused. Even the low E sounded tight and didn't have that bong sound a lot of 7/8 strings have. It might take awhile to get accustomed to the bridge.

Lol, about 30 years ago my dad gave me a black and white silk shirt that looked almost EXACTLY like Vito's here from his 'old stock'.

I haven't owned much clothing that made you feel douchey and fly at the same time (it was the 90's people!), but this was one of those things. 😜
Even created a Lemmy outfit with it, black jeans and boots, shaved my beard the same way, added the fake warts, went to a costumed party and hooked up with a MILF, almost twice my age, who made some age appropriate friend zoned cuck pay for one of my drinks, while he was trying to score with her.🤣
No pictures exist of that night... Pre cell phones and all.
Funny shirt, funny times.

This is the only time in my life that I thought headless guitars were cool:

Yes I always love a good necro shitting on of gay ass headless guitars. Continue 👍👍

I dig my steinberger spirit headless bass. It’s pretty goofy.

I had Steinberger composite L guitar and bass back in the 80s.

I had a few Steinberger SS-2F guitars (black and white), and still have one with a Roland GK-3 pickup.

I sold my original L bass a few years ago...pic from the listing...

I’ve mentioned it in the past, these steinbergers have a special place in my heart because my niece when she was 3 or 4 years old fell in love with my spirit guitar. I ended up giving her the guitar when she got older.
