The only criteria is making sure a skid mark didn’t make its way through the entire wash cycle. That would mean all my tan pants and boat shorts that were in the dryer with the streak would get that “baked in turd” smell

Everything video that canuck makes sounds exactly the same and like shit cuz he uses "IR's' and not cabs.

I think youtube is flooded with a bunch of sellouts. That said, I appreciate @the other John Browne and a few others. I think there are some genuine people out there.

I will say that if @ZEN Amps puts out an amp review, it is legit and shows you variation in playing styles, guitar choice, and speaker choice for the given amp and that is useful. I have seen nothing about them that is sellout. I can't say the same for Mr. Ola, but he just gives more entertainment than reviews anyway and I am sure that is what he wants to do. I think in the past he was a bit more genuine and I really love his old videos.

With these YouTube guitarist's, this is their whole life and it's starting to sink a bit in viewership. I think they naturally assume that because we watch, it must be our whole world too or that we are as immersed. But it's not and we're not. We have lives, wives, other hobbies and actual jobs.

This is a very astute observation that may be lost on them.

Another problem I’ve noticed within the last 5 or so years of gear-tubers: the Zuta amp that came out had such a strong presence under the whole “this is the BEST amp ever” agenda… who actually owns one? Certainly not any of the influencers that said it was the “best amp ever!!!” We’re just to assume not to take anything these GearTubers say seriously and be okay with the “free content” without looking at the influencers in disgust? Or maybe they are okay with that as long as they get the next new best pedal.

Every amp is the greatest amp ever.... until the next amp review drops.
I don't give two shits about what their opinion of an amp is. I may pay attention if they mention something about reliability. As far as tone goes I use my ears and not their words to decide.

Well considering how bread and butter most of their choices were. It was stuff people with modest budgets can actually own. It might as well have been a comp of my favorite amp I got from a GC new/used sale. Only the guy who made the video had an actual Zuta.
I know the 5150III 50 watters are a bit of a workhorse amp but if it’s your desert island amp you have some hearing or stylistic issues.

Such a great movie. It was on over the weekend on the Sundance channel. But it was the dumbed down to TV-13 version. We have clearance under roger over.

I have never get self conscious about my tone. Only the playing that I have done when I don’t feel comfortable with my tone. I wish I was one of those knows a thousand songs and can play through anything types, but I’m not and that’s why I’m here.

LOL no worries man. Me too. I can't play for shit but I have great tone
