iic+ into EL34s clips

heres a couple clips of my Myasnikov iic+ into the loop of my DSL with a parametric in between kind of metallica style. im using a strat with the stock atomic humbucker. sm57 on the edge of the cone. did a little speaker blending experiment with a G12-65 i just got, these are quad tracked with both speakers on each side

i did scoop some at 750hz trying to copy the mesa eq, i ordered the mesa eq pedal last night though, figure if i have this preamp i gotta have that as well

For me (thru good speakers), 65/30 > 75/30 >>> 65/75. I remember trying 65/75 and the 75s were old ones from '84 but I put the other two '75s back in fairly quickly, they just didn't blend as well as I thought they would. That cab sounded better with all 75s, it's a great cab. But I really want an old 65-loaded Marshall cab too.

Oh, and that's a great tone too.

im not sure which one id go with either, not exactly a bad problem to have though. think im gonna grab a k85 and throw all these in a recording 4x12 like i been talking for years

What the hell is a Myasnikov IIC+ ?? anyways, it sounds pretty good, not completely like a Mark though... Can't say i prefer any speaker combo, they all had there thing going on for them.

That sounds great. Definitely has the IIC+, Master of Puppets tone on the palm muted triplets.
