Nice video guys! What tubes were in that prototype and when will Mr. Day and his Suhr make their video debut with it

COOL!!!! Thanks __ Sounds Great Order in! Also, Cool Guitar Finish__

I like how it sounds more Flat then I would have thought I think it will record great, Just hope I can play half as good as Cameron one day

Good work guys j

I love listening to Mark Cameron play through his amp. That amp matches his style perfectly. I also really dug those fast, percussive runs JCJ was playing.

really impressive, looking forward to hearing more clips as the amp rolls out, kudos for putting these up, the axe fx 2 ones are pretty sweet too, but the CCV slays =0

Nico,

I think it is the wonky video recording __ sometimes it is easier then others to hear through,

The 'fizz and hollowness' I am attributing to the recording __ It is still super informative and the clip shows that it is the same CCV - esque thing as the older ones_ I think people are gonna shit when they put a mic on the speaker, A crate club 35 would sound way better mic'd up right.. as is___ so it is deceiving... when I get my hands on one (soonish) I will throw up a decent recording-- I AM glad they put this up though as it shows promise of a bitchin amp yo! and

gLASSJAW,
You have to go for the holy trinity! haha With all these new amps out people are going to be flipping them like crazy just cause it is hard to own all 3 at once and people will want to play with all of them so-- get ready! Satan Bless Brad for consolidating this all so cool

Good Job guys. I figured you decided to party and crash(Can't blame you for that).

BTW, all this I want to hear it with this cab, or that cab and speakers. Go buy one. Seriously as busy as these guys are, and will be, I don't think you will be seeing too much of that. Brad barely posted anything because he was probably wiped out. The clips are just to validate that this thing is real.

Rob could be the next gary hoey with those shred video skills .... :-)

I detected some weird mids while Matt Damon was playing. Could've been the guitar or perhaps the camera angle to the cab.

Anyone that thinks an Axe FX can replicate that is nuts....

FAIL

From clips alone I would have to say the Axe FX did not have near the overtones and note bloom I heard in the CCV clip. To me the CCV just had this openness and width to it. I would love to have both in a room and time to tinker with them. I have been able to get the older Axe FX to match up with some pretty high end amps in the past. I would love to see what I could do with the Axe FX II. I may be nuts, but saying that cannot be replicated with the Axe FX II with right power amp and cabinets might be nuts also....

Best amp builders today IMO are the guys that can rip it up, feel to them is just as important as tone.

good to see Mark playing!

Re: some of the comments above.....

Guys, let's not write off a $3,500 amp made by a tone monster based on a clip recorded with a video camera and an amp dialed in to a few players' particular styles and tonal tendencies.

The tone controls on the CCV allow it to cover a wide range of styles. Brad told me straight up that the clean channel can go from crystal clean, through mild break up and right into heavy crunch territory. Again, one clip does not a comprehensive review make!

Just wait until someone gets a clip of a mic'ed cabinet - I think that will change some of your minds as to what this beast can REALLY do.

Lookind forward to seeing the delivery truck, Brad!

more clips coming...Mark Day in the batters box warming up...Look for them end of the week with mic'd up 4x12's. Stand Up and Shout!

Will this clip contain the patented Mark Day "O" face?

You're right on the money with the range of the amp.

When I plugged in, those were Mark Day's settings, and I was just screwing around. I didn't even know it was being recorded for the first thirty seconds.

When Mark Cameron was dialing while I was playing, it sounded like it would have when I dial my own (he knows the general settings/sound I go for).

I'm sure there will be MANY more clips/vids for people who want to hear different sides of the amp, and there are a TON of things it will do exceptionally well.
