Yes he was corrupte but he wasn't interested in the movement towards a one world government. He was a patriotic criminal which is better than the unpatriotic criminals we have had ever since.

Definitely a two faced asshole at bare minimum. He gave us some lovely things like the income tax, billion dollar/year security for one person, and of course peace and love to name a few. Given he's always ranked fairly high on lists of Presidents, well... that's probably not good for the rest of them.
