WE have nukes but Iran aren't allowed...why?
What right have we got to stop any sovereign nation not having nukes if we have them?
Israel have 'stolen material' nukes and we have no problem with that...why?
Iran has never fired a shot on US soil.
Iran has never had a military operation on US soil.
Iran behave far more humane than Israel but we have no problem with Israel.
Israel has attacked a US warship and attacked the US on US soil and we have no problem with that...why?
Iran is not trying to expand its borders illegally but Israel is currently attempting to and we have no problem with that...why?
Iran have no presence anywhere near the Continental US but we've been a military presence in the ME since the 40s. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot. They're upset about it and publicly complain about it and we see them as a threat. It is us who is the threat...not Iran.

if you don't understand "why?" for yourself, no one can help you understand; nor is it anyone's responsibility to help you understand something you don't / can't / won't understand for yourself.
Just realize there are others who understand and some are willing to do what's necessary even when many don't understand or appreciate it. This way, you don't even have to worry about it, and can go on living in a delusional fantasy world far removed from reality imagining you hold the moral high ground.

It's you who can't be reasoned with as you're acting entitled, at the expense of lives and actual non fascist freedom, and what we the US want we take and enforce no matter what we do as the world's ugliest hypocrites. The way we believe we own and control everything around the planet without consideration for the rights of others (non US) certainly makes our nation look like a nation of cult members.
We have borders and within those borders we are 100% responsible for. Outside these borders other countries do as they please in their country.
Iran is nowhere physically near the US so there is no threat to us and whataboutisms are irrelevant and scaremongering only.
We don't dare attack Russia and they have nukes, we don't dare attack Nth Korea as they have nukes...we're bullies because we're not consistent in the slightest. We say to Russia don't attack Ukraine and we supply Ukraine with arms and yet, we will not dare attack Russia ourselves after 4 yrs because the Pentagon knows it's game over for us if we do. We're hypocrites and nothing you can say or slant it like doesn't change the truth.
So, talking about seeing or understanding...you need to take a long hard look at your position that excludes reality today.

I'd prefer the US stick to taking care of domestic issues instead of getting involved in foreign wars.

Presumably, you're a functioning adult; you should be able to find information, analyze, consider, validate, cross -reference and determine facts and truth. It's not up to others to spoon feed you. Do you ask other men how to pay your bills, do your taxes, balance your checking account, etc.?

On June 8, 1967, at least 34 US sailors were killed and 171 others were wounded in an Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, a United States Navy technical research ship stationed in the Mediterranean Sea off Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
Israeli air and naval forces bombarded the intelligence-gathering vessel in international waters near the Sinai Peninsula during the 1967 war, when Israel captured Egypt’s Sinai, Gaza and the West Bank.
The assault began when Israeli jets attacked the vessel, striking the ship’s deck with antipersonnel weapons and armour-piercing bullets.
This was followed by a devastating strike from Israeli torpedo boats that blew a massive hole in the ship’s starboard side, instantly killing 25 men in the lower research spaces. In total, 34 sailors were killed in the attack.
The crew had been flying the US flag and had even exchanged waves with low-flying Israeli aircraft earlier that morning, making their identity clear. Israel has long maintained the strike was a tragic error, claiming exhausted pilots mistook the US naval vessel for an Egyptian warship.
Richard Brooks, chief engineer on the vessel, in a 2015 interview said “it wasn’t a tragic accident”.
“It was a deliberate attack. They knew who we were. They tried to sink us. They wanted us out to either bring the Americans into the war by blaming the Arabs, or we picked up some information about their war plans.”
A naval board of inquiry was hastily convened while the severely damaged ship was dry-docked in Malta, but the proceedings concluded swiftly.
Ernie Gallo, president of the USS Liberty Survivors Group, dismissed Israel’s “mistaken identity” excuse as a lie and accused the US government of complicity for accepting the false narrative. He continues to demand a full official inquiry.
The US Congress never formally questioned the attack or formed a committee to investigate the tragedy.
