What effect is Dave Murray using on his Number of the Beast solo? Sounds real subtle, but there - kinda warbles a little bit. I was thinking chorus, but I've never really heard a chorus pedal sound quite like that.

Yeah, I hear the wah, but it sounds like a tad bit of modulation too, maybe it's just his technique.

EDIT: The other effect you're hearing is probably him using the whammy bar.

I've always thought it was a subtle phaser or flanger. I spent like three minutes trying to get it to work with a plugin on this solo, but didn't even get close.
