Gear? Not lately!
Motorcycles? Yessiree! After an eleven year reprieve form road racing, I'm going back to the track for some much needed track day sessions. Got the Ducati 1098 a few months ago. Day after I got back from Sturgis, I brought my GTL k1600 in for service and rode home on a new s1000rr. A week later I was back on a local track. Looking forward to another T-Day this weekend.
I'm a Ducati fanboi. Beauty machine

I was legitimately just going to post this same thing. Anytime I've gone to sell anything for the passed few years, it has to be pennies on the dollar, of what I paid and I usually only buy used stuff at decent prices. But I'm trying to sell an RG2228 right now for almost half of the old used price and not a single offer has been thrown my way other than those two for one trades. I feel like its impossible to move anything these days without going to GC...

Stuff sells quick if priced right. Usually 40% off what item can be purchased for new. $3000 new from Sweetwater or MF or wherever means $1800 used if in excellent shape. Paypal and shipping free to further the pain. Sometimes I go 35% off as a start but 40% off ensures a quicker sale and less tire kickers. I sell tons of stuff and it never lasts more than three days.

I like the 35%-40% mark down off of new prices, but where it hurts is when you have to pay the paypal fees and the shipping and insurance cost. For something over $1000, then you get about 50% off new in your pocket. I have had more luck selling bigger ticket items on craigslist, but it is a waiting game and a hassle. I have more luck selling smaller things like pedals, pickups, etc on forums because shipping is less.
