Is there anyone on R-T that could be more annoying than...

Please tell me you can plug in a kemper to PC for goodness sakes.
Yea for sure. You could always plug one in to download profiles and use the rig manager/edit function.
But just recently they did a big update that lets you use the USB as an audio interface as well. So I can record and monitor my daw through the kemper.

Omg just recently?! That’s what I was asking. Better late than never.

Yea I’m pretty sure. It came out around the time I got one so I guess I never really noticed.
I appreciate they made it a free update and not designed a whole new unit around it though. I respect that a kemper is a kemper and that’s it .

maybe other digital units do this too, but one thing I find cool that the Kemper does is send separate signals to a daw at the same time. Like it will send the DI signal, the wet and the dry signal separately to individual tracks so you can mix the wet separately later, or use plugins for the wet but have the benefit of hearing the wet/dry together when tracking. Then of course the DI can be reamped if need be too.

I don't really understood the angst against not having usb recording though. It's handy for sure, but an interface would still be needed for vocals or acoustics/ anything with mics. I suppose you could also run those through a kemper if you wanted to, but nothing besides a dedicated interface will be the best option for an all in one option

Because it’s obvious! …Plug guitar into machine with USB out that should go to PC/DAW.
I guess so. I utilize it since it’s available but I’d be surprised if it was a dealbreaker for anyone. Interfaces are cheap and most people would already have one unless they bought the kemper first.
Im probably going to start using one anyways for the reasons mentioned before, micing up acoustics or vocal mics.
Not to mention, even with the new usb audio capability, there still isn’t a dedicated audio driver for the kemper so it’s not the most consistent

^ Do tell

I dunno, Larry's a character for sure, but not sure if annoying is the trophy I would send his way.
I would gather that I should probably rank higher than him to most members with my taste in guitars and supposed cryptic statements.
There's plenty of other members and various reasons that I just don't see him on the list of long time contributors to annoyance.
That's just my perspective, though. I'm not going to personally name anyone, as I'm over the whole people going crazy and acting out like childish psychos routine.
