ok-another thread hijack...I love semiauto shotties but if I'm not running full power loads they wont cycle..eg.-my mossberg and weatherby tac guns. I don't want to run my high dollar man killers at the range for fun. The cheaper stuff always causes me problems. How does that bad boy do with the cheap, low brass bulk walmart shit for plinking?

My two primary semi autos are this one and the 1301 tactical. Both have fed thousands of rounds with zero problems, everything from birdshot to 3" magnums. The unreliability of semi automatic shotguns with less than full loads has been remedied by Beretta/Benelli and the Israelis. Those problems still persist with the Turkish crap, especially the AR-10 type fed with external box mags. I wouldn't own one. I think the newer Mossbergs, 940 Pro specifically run extremely reliably as well.

But to answer your question the TS-12 will shoot and feed whatever you throw at it. Including the Top Gun low brass 1100 FPS crap.

By the way, I have been training and drilling with shotguns for about 4 decades now and I long ago lost enthusiasm for shooting crap loads or birdshot. I primarily use #4 or cheap 00B on the range. I have more shotgun shells than Federal probably though.

Nevertheless I prefer the "AR" over the Galeil.
The AR wasn't worth it until about a dozen years ago IMO. Before that they were more expensive, with more expensive mags and ammo, and less of an aftermarket. The factory aluminum mags are junk. If I did it again that would be the route I would go but at the time the AK's were a better deal with cheaper ammo and high quality low cost mil surp and aftermarket mags.

I consider a legit Galil a better gun than your average AR but things have changed. A Galil in the states is basically a collectors item unfortunately. There is an amazing aftermarket for AR's now. Personally I like an FAL better than any of those guns but they are a bit pricey to shoot, even back in the mid and late 2000's.

Even cheap PSA carbines are very reliable these days. One thing I don’t have yet is an AK. Although I might go with an American, forged variant.

PMags. That is the way.

I am a fan of IWI and own several of their weapons. Nevertheless I prefer the "AR" over the Galeil. IWI is now making some "AR"s by the way. The Zion and a couple others. I much prefer to build my own. I built a Wilson "Ranger" for less than half the cost of buying it from them. Though I did cheat and buy a Wilson manufactured complete upper.
I actually love the Tavor, I don't own one but I have shot one and it was very very good. Great accuracy, no feeding problems, very nimble.
Feels like an SBR without the tax stamp and wait time for the paperwork. Good balance too unless you put a fat suppressor on it.
Bullpups always feel funny to me for the first mag or so, but these feel right at home, the layout is a copy of an AR. The mag position is the only really different thing but you get used to it quickly. Its actually closer to your hand once you bring the rifle up to slam in the next one. Ive had good luck with their (IWI) mags too, I have several of them and no problems whatsoever, in addition to a shit ton of Magpul mags and a few dozen Lancer AR10 mags that have been solid.

My buddy in Kansas has several. I shot them a few times. No complaints. I still prefer my WC.

At least for me, I don't comment on things i'm not really, really experienced with.

So if i'm not an "Expert" i dont talk about it.

If you mean expert as in "Scientific scholastic degree" those are bullshit now.
Bro, just declare yourself an expert. I saw this asswipe on instagram the other day and he said, “on Monday, I work from 6am til noon, Tuesday is noon til 6, and Wednesday is 6 til midnight!, and so on. I work 21 days in those 5 days!”! The crowd wildly cheered this son of a bitch, and my mind was blown. What he said makes zero sense, and the fact that he was on stage, speaking with a serious demeanor and authority, conveyed to the many simpletons present that he was both an expert and correct. Just speak with authority while acting very serious and everyone will assume you are both an expert and correct.

For those that don’t know, the end is upon us.

The Tavor TS-12 was tough to find when I was looking for a shotgun, I ended up with a Turkish-made AK-47-based, bullpup, semi-auto 12GA.

not really big on AK-47 style systems, but I do prefer bullpups for short size / long barrel.

Still saving my pennies for a Barrett MRAD 300PRC. :D

Gen 3’s…?
Every time I see Gen 2s for less than $10 I buy $100 worth. I am not going to get into how many I have, but certainly it's enough. I've never had one fail in any gun.

I'm sure the Gen 3s are awesome too. When they get $10 or less I'll try them.

I have had gen 2’s not seat in a few guns. It’s weird. It’s not a 100% repeatable phenomenon but it’s happened enough that I won’t mess with them. ETS are the worst mags ever.

Avoid Amend 2 as well. Almost none of them drop free unaided or hold the bolt open after the last round.

Same here, nobody had them in stock and I ended up with a Kel Tech KSG, I didn't expect much given Kel Techs reputation, but its been surprisingly good. Its got an Eotech red dot on it. No issues so far but Ive only got a couple of hundred rounds through it. 14+1 cap with twin feed tubes. Its not close to a Tavor as far as build quality, but being a pump platform its been good so far. The tube selector is a bit notchy, but its cool being able to run cheap loads in one tube for be-heading snakes, and serious more manly loads in the other and choose on the fly.
I can tell you if you drop it in mud you do not want to field strip it outside on a tailgate
