We don't really know what he was going thru or went thru in his life.
Maybe he was a few fries short of a happy meal, maybe he was just a pain in the ass.
Perhaps at one point in his life some kind of mental trauma made him the way he is...Thinking people were bots or spies or whatever was a little odd.
Some people have personality disorders where their actions and thoughts seem normal to them.
Had a friend of 30+ years that seemed like a normal, super outgoing guy. He was a bit jumpy some times and was spooked easily by people coming up behind him, noises, etc.
His mother passed and he just became a recluse and blamed family and friends for "giving up" on him. Completely shut everyone out and I lost touch with him.
We went from being fishing buddies and doing everything fun and stupid together to him not wanting a thing to do with me. He was just angry at the world.
After his passing in 2019 and everyone discussing their life experiences with him it came to the realization that he had/was living with paranoid personality disorder.
His mother passing (who he had living with him for years due to health problems) just sent him over the edge and he gave up on life and family.
You never know what someone is dealing with day to day.
I'd like to think he (Dan) was just a pain in the ass and a instigator.. *shrug*

It's nothing that complicated. Dan is simply a forum troll. He's acted the same for the better part of 2+ decades, has a reputation across multiple forums, and has been perma-banned by most. I don't think he ever grew past the late 90's AOL chatroom flame wars mentality.

First of all welcome to Rig-Talk :yes:

I think it is swell that you already seem to know so much about Charvel Dan and have damn near identical gear. Please tell me your Marshall was modded by Friedman too. Did you run into him on other forums? Asking for my friends. :dunno:
 
I personally think that ShitVille Dan had some sort of dignity and shame left.....


This is why he changed his name...... And pretended he never did, even though he did and we all knew he did.....


What little shame and dignity he had left couldn't allow him to continue to embarrass himself..... So he deleted his own account seeking to start new with an alt account or whatever other manner if he doesn't have one already.


He was so ashamed of his indignent manner that he had no other choice but to delete his own account...... But no matter how much he runs from himself..... He can never run from his own shadow or reflection.

All I know about Dan is from when he was charvel Dan here.
I've come here now and then just as a visitor to read the gear info,etc.
No...lol. My marshall is bone stock..
I think he was over at Guitargearforum for a very short while. that's all I know.
Other than that... No idea
 
Maybe if we recite the Hand Truck Oath, he will return.
