Yeah man we have family out in WA/OR and they bring out razor clams, halibut, salmon, etc.
I’m a big fan of fish we get here in Florida, hog snapper, great grouper, trigger, etc.
I got this one a while back, a 7X strip and in all honesty it did not blow me away.

I agree. Love Grouper- so many varieties and not available fresh on the West coast. My favorite though is Pantogonian Toothfish (Chilean Sea Bass). Limited and protected now. No worries- retired early and have 5 acres living fine- no debt. Hope the basement dwelling is going well for you and your internet is not cut off. You still have a couple weeks left to collect aluminum cans or chop off a catalytic converter to make it happen. Good luck
