Adam Schiff may be the poster child of not being held accountable. I think they have to participate with an official enemy for it to be legally considered treason, but I don't feel the word is being misused given they were actively coordinating against the will of the American people and involved with political persecution. They should be held accountable starting with heavy handed audits from the IRS, seizure of assets, election interference, and probably conspiracy charges of some sort at least.

They should, but unfortunately under equal access to justice, only people who are worth less than $2m can recoup legal costs from the government and even then it's capped at $125 per hour.
