Looks like he’s using Fender saddles on his bridge now too instead of the block type.

Used a old 50 watt marshall on the record. Hence the smallbox.. Cabs are greenbacks

Curious about his bridge pickup. Quite sure he's not using the JB his signature guitar has

He used a bunch of amps on the record based on recent interview... including a Laney, orange, and jubilee and mostly a 1973 marshall

What makes you think that ?

I remember someone mentioning he was using a MCP or an Arcane

Band sounds great. So good hearing a great bass player doing justice to the songs, well done Anthony

Damn I wish the opportunity would come for me to see them, but living on the other side of the planet makes that impossible

Looks like a prescription electronics fuzz/octave pedal next to the Boss tuner, rare pedal.

Yes it's a Prescription Electronic Experience. Quite surprising because I never heard anything sound close to that in his playing ?

Did you guys see the latest RDC video? Jake's tone is mush and totally squashed. His ears might be going if he is diming everything and hoping to capture that old school vibe.

So that is what a small box sounds like on 10!
Lol.....

He’s got some serious fuzz tones on the knew album . I’m not familiar with that pedal but possibly he’s using it for some of those tracks

If you’re talking about the one where he’s playing the blue Charvel,I can tell you that particular guitar has an alnico 2 JB in the bridge and to me that’s where the mushiness is coming from.

03/11/2019: So here is what I find puzzling.
I am surprised we haven't seen any updated pedal board pics.
After all it seems to change with every gig. The Majik Bipolar Fuzz seems to have been replaced after the second gig. Anyone know what he is using now? It sits between the Prescription Experience Fuzz and the Tuner.
The tuner also seems to be moving back and fort between first and last position on the pedal board.

He seems to be using the Friedman Smallbox exclusively so far. The RJS seems to be backup only and is never on. On some days he has another Friedman sitting on top of the rack case that is also on, but nothing is plugged in. I take it that is also a backup amp for the main Friedman amp in the rack.

He uses four 4x12 cabs. I wonder how those are hooked up. One assumption would be the bottom of one stack and the top of the other stack for the amp that is on, and the other ones vice versa for a backup amp considering that he stated he likes the cabs angled like that to get better tone where he is mainly standing on stage. If he uses all four cabs at the same time, how does he hook them up to one head?

What is that pedal that is always lying on top of the rack case?

From the many video clips on YouTube he seems to do quite a lot of channel switching too.

It's time for a real rig rundown!

I'll be honest, I love the songs I've heard from RDC but I'm not the biggest fan of the tones. It is ok but there is this "clanky" sound in there that reminds me of the one sound in a lot of Stratocasters that I can't stand. I can't even put my finger on it and have tried describing it to other people. It is not all that bad but I'm just a fan of his older tones. I do think he is going for more of a raw, bluesy tone, so I get it but a JB into a 5150-III isn't going to get it IMO. I'm glad he is going thru the Friedmans. He needs a Motor City pickup in there.

Supposedly he used a Strat on a good chunk of the latest RDC cd so possibly that's what you're hearing

I'm glad to see Jake E. Lee back performing live with Red Dragon Cartel, recording/playing his new music for his audience. His guitars, pedals, & amps sound great in the videos and I like his organic, raw rock n' roll tones that he projects in his sound. I'm planning to see his show if he comes out to northern California.

My band opened for Jake E Lee Friday night. He played through the Friedman on the very top of the rack. Not sure if the main one went down or what, but I got a shot of the rig, and his settings haha. It was a blast watching them live.
