Rock/blues/R&B outfit JJ Grey and Mofro perform more than 120 dates per year, so it goes without saying that live shows are of great importance. In their latest video, “Light a Candle,” Grey and his band offer a rare glimpse into life on the road while capturing the fierceness and intimacy of his live performance. This marks the second single off the swamp rocker’s new album Ol Glory, which is out now on Provogue Records / Mascot Label Group, his first album of originals in two years. “I realized that no one does anything alone, ever,” says Grey of the video and song. “All the things in my life have come to me through others for whom without I wouldn’t exist. All those candles. All those tiny points of light. They who have helped to light me as an artist, man, and human being.”
