Agreed..... but also look at how long Arnold has lived in the U.S and listen to his english. Either way, not sure where this guy's cash comes from because he seems to be able to demo some pretty top notch gear. I think he feels his quirks are what make him "interesting" but I rarely make it through a full vid. Also agree that Chapman rarely dials in a good tone. Unfortunately one of the few guys I can listen to is the "ToneKing". He also can't dial an amp in or a mic to save his life but at least you can listen to the guy talk.

ToneKing is also a member of the board along with Fluff. I see them post occasionally.

Difference being, I could have a beer with the toneking. I couldn't with this Freddy Krueger lookin fella (that was genius mchn13!)

+1. No problems with the Tone King as a person or Paul from Guitar World. Can't handle the andertons guys slapping each other in the balls or this guy slapping himself in the balls.

A lot of times I'm looking for specific gear reviews or A/B comparisons and the ToneKing is the only one (or one of the few) doing that...But his tone... The ToneJester or The TonePage would be more apt.
But yeah, his talking bits are bearable, whereas Henning seems to be a little too enamoured with his own quirkiness and 'jokes'.
He reminds me of a highschool classmate that was always the Star Trek-cardgame playing nerd, that when he reached his mid twenties suddenly got a bit of an arrogant attitude, because some Asian chick dated him for a while.

You know who's German and *can* dial in decent tone? Ollie from SessionMusic. And ChopTones, whoever that is.

Not Ola though. Unless you're hell bent on making a Dual Rectifier sound exactly like an Engl Savage, while playing 7 string Drop-A stuff. I'll take the ToneKing over Ola then. Sorry Ola, you're a nice guy, but you're pretty much demoing YOUR sound each time. I wanna hear what the amp excels at, not some ultra low-tuned flub.

This dude's been my #1 most-annoying fella on the 'net since I forced myself to sit through his entire (3-part?) Kemper rant.

As a proud Kemper owner, it was a painful experience to endure. As a human being, it was nothing less than massocism on my part, but curiosity got the better of me. If there was a legitimate storm on the horizon for my beloved Kemper, I wanted to know about it. Turned out the only storm was the one brewing in his coffee cup.

Now this? Hypocrisy is my #1 peeve in life, so, that combined with Henning's #1 most-annoying-on-the-net status places him comfortably as the indisputable, probably-never-to-be-replaced #1 most-annoying fella on the net... for me at least.

Talk about ego stroking. Oh man. So practiced. It's not a routine for him, it would seem, but rather, a way of life.

I can't take this guy, I tried to scroll through to hear what the amp actually sounds like and it's always just him talking like a fucking retard, over and over and over again. It would be impossible for me to be in a room with him for any length of time and not cave his face in. He's rage inducing.
