As far as I understood, the Klonz was a kickstarter thing which was driven further/finalized by Joyo. The idea itself is amazing, just google (YT) the amp itself and the two italian guys. It was about time that a company came up with the idea, surprised it is Joyo who grabbed it.

Yap, plus one to this. Besides the questionable "we can model anything via analogue circuits" which can sound romantic on paper, but then there is the effect of component placement in the circuit etc etc. There is the fact that the guy from the video makes a bunch of videos bashing kemper because they use intellectual property from others and the names of other brands amps and that's wrong. And now this same guy supports something that can according to themselves model the: ’63 AC 30 Top Boost; ’58 5F6A Bassman (with 12AY7 option); ’64 Bluesbreaker; ’69 1959 SLP Plexi; ’57 5E3 Deluxe (with 12AY7 option); ’66 18W; ’64 Deluxe Reverb; ’64 Twin Reverb; ’92 DC 30, etc etc

To my knowledge these are names of amps from other brands. So this was a problem with the kemper but now it is not a problem with joyo? Joyo gave him what cleverly kemper did not, money. So much for morality right?

Klonz isn't modelling, it is switching via relays parts in and out of the circuitry with real tubes and an OT. So the result is a multi-functional tube amp which only can come close to the sound of the amp (better: schematic of the amp) chosen in the app.

He's a loser but that is a bit of a narrow minded comment to make. How much German do you speak ? Yeah we get it that english pretty much kicks ass and is tops in social media and most business circles but more north americans should open their eyes to other languages and realize that there is an advantage to speaking more than one. I am a native english speaker but I feel lucky to speak 4 languages and I have never shit on anyone trying to communicate in any language. Think about it...and his english is accented but very good. But yes, I also think STFU when i listen to this guy.

Agreed..... but also look at how long Arnold has lived in the U.S and listen to his english. Either way, not sure where this guy's cash comes from because he seems to be able to demo some pretty top notch gear. I think he feels his quirks are what make him "interesting" but I rarely make it through a full vid. Also agree that Chapman rarely dials in a good tone. Unfortunately one of the few guys I can listen to is the "ToneKing". He also can't dial an amp in or a mic to save his life but at least you can listen to the guy talk.

English is my second language too but I wouldn't make 20-minute monologues like this dude. Especially when most of his long rants are unessential. And you have to admit that his English speaking is one of the reasons why his videos are so fucking unbearable. Being multilingual is definitely a business advantage, however knowing when to shut up is pretty important as well.

Although that can be said with some US/UK gear demo makers too. Most of their long talks can be condensed down to a few lines of on-screen subtitles instead. It's always a pain trying to scavenge 3 minutes' worth of actual demo between 15 minutes of talking.

Got to admit my $33 Joyo, analog delay sounds pretty damn good for some simple slapback etc. The thought of paying 5-8 times as much for a "proper" delay is stupifying. But I don't use much delay (except in the DAW) so can't justify an El Cap or something like that.
