This isn't one the more popular songs they have but I dig the shit out of it
K. K. Downings solo is boss in this song

Count me in........everything up to (and including) Defenders of the Faith is stellar. They always had a knack for writing catchy, but heavy hooks. The progression from Rock Rolla' to Defenders of the Faith covers many tones and styles.........all of them great.

Probably my all time favorite band

True, but in a "heavier" way. I just prefer the aforementioned.

One of the greatest metal bands ever. Hell, I even liked some of the stuff from Turbo :scared:

A few of my faves:

I saw 'em on that tour when they opened up with "Out in the Cold". It was awesome then, and it remains one of my favorite Priest songs.

Hell yeah!

I am in a JP tribute band that only does stuff from DotF and back. Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, ex-Watchtower) is my singer and he gets all into the Halford thing. We don't play a ton of shows because we all have crazy schedules, but we have one this Friday and I am psyched. We have a ton of fun doing it.

Our set list:
Exciter
Running Wild
Sinner
The Ripper
The Green Manalishi
Diamonds and Rust
Victim of Changes
Genocide
Tyrant
Delivering the Goods
Hell Bent for Leather
Rapid Fire
Freewheel Burning
Hellion
Electric Eye
Breaking the Law
Heading out to the Highway

Just missing a little Before the Dawn...

What would truly be the bomb though is if you did Deceiver/Dreamer Deceiver, both in sequence. If I was seeing a tribute and they busted out some stuff like that I would be impressed. Maybe some Here Come the Tears  Need more stuff off Stained Class like Saint's In Hell!

I love that setlist, as it's 99.99% absolute perfect. If I had the choice to make a couple of subtle changes, I might swap Breaking the Law and Heading out to the Highway for some more choice cuts. How about Rock Forever, Burnin' Up, Steeler or Screaming for Vengeance? But all in all, that is pretty much a perfect setlist.
