Just got Metallica MOP remastered on vinyl! Sounds amazing!!

Not sure if any of you guys are into vinyl but I got a nice turntable a few years ago and started picking up a few albums from time to time. Just got the 180 Gram Master of Puppets "Remastered" album and just sounds so great! You can barely even tell I'm playing a record. No pops or other sounds you hear with old albums.

Definitely has a tad more low end to it so you can hear Cliff a bit better. Lars cymbals sound really good too. When he did the count in for "Leper Messiah" it sounded like he was in my living room. Freaked me out! LOL! Anyway, comes with the digital download too so you can get that also for one price. Having flashbacks reading the notes, lyrics, etc. Just like old times.

What table did you get? I’m looking for a new one with built in preamp, cuz my Sony doesn’t have a preamp and I want to hookbit into my Avid Mbox Pro through my KRK monitors. Gonna give a coworker the sony.

Mine doesn't have a built-in preamp either. I have a Pro-ject one from Czechia. Bought it at a local home audio store. Not expensive but not as cheap as the Best Buy ones either. Let me know what type you get.

I'd love to get this someday.

I have (new) vinyl records of Kill 'em All and Ride the Lightning but am still yet to play them, as I don't have a turntable.
