I used the brown version of the western stuff for the back panel of my Gibson-Maestro. It didn't have a cab so I built one out of mahogany and ebony. I had an exotic woods place down the street from my FL house so I kind of went hog wild on it. It's the first guitar amp I ever saw or played through.

Damn Waynzo, that right there is the best looking Blues Deluxe on the planet. You even got the chunkiest part of the tolex pattern laid directly across the top, nice played. You've been holding out on me big dawg, your tolex work is more extensive and even more beautiful than I had previously assumed.

a dentist gave me 550 for this ...... I had bought it off of GC for like 200 bucks ... the tolex was all screwed up .... this dude wanted brown western style with the natural looking leather corners ... and the grill screen isn't stock .. I forget what it was .... but it turned the highs into butter .... he loved it ... I think he played a Lone Star into it
