It’s also very likely that not all of the kid rock thing was lip synced. I’ve heard people say some of the background shit was pre programmed but a lot of it seemed live. I’ve hated Kid Rick for as long as I can remember, long before I knew of his politics. Lol
And I get that they all lip sync/pre record performances like that, but don’t deny it when being called out for it by whatever group, for whatever reason.
And for the record, I saw some of the BB performance, and that was the worst shit I’ve ever seen.
That mf’er should’ve lip synced.

It wasn't "infatuation BS".

Look it up at a bunch of credible lyric-analysis sites and you'll find that the baseline consensus, starting-point is that it's a song about infatuation and the internal conflict that arose as a consequence.

Anywho, as far as anyone's concerned it's a work of fiction. I've no doubt that if there were a real gal involved, she'd have known that the song was "about her" (songwriters tend to reveal this stuff to gals) and broadcast it to the world whether or not she lived in a State where it was legal.
