Do any of you guys use this speaker cable?

What's the skinny?

How does it compare to the Lava Tephra, EA Siren II and the Vovox Sonorus Drive?

I had it for a few years and sold it. Don't get me wrong it is a good cable but not any better than good old heavy gauge standard speaker wire. I went back and forth between a few different cables and heard no difference. I think as long as you go with good quality cables you'll be fine. I do think the only cable that makes a difference is from guitar to amp. I use Vandenhull cables and hear big differences when comparing to others.

I'm using Vertex cables so I'm good on that front. I just think that it's time for a change/upgrade from the Monster speaker cables that I've been using for close to 10 years.

Might I ask what replaced the Kimber in your rig?

I used to use the same old heavy gauge standard speaker wire for parntz145. Replaced the guitar to amp part with Kimber Kable- the 8VS version that I bought from Bay Bloor radio, and I saw considerable difference. After that, I switched everything to Kimber. In the end it comes to what connection in the setup you replace with the Kimber.

I have one, and it was a pretty noticeable upgrade from the my previous heavy gauge music store brand cable. Even my drummer noticed straight away. The Kimber was more open, and I could get notes to sustain into controlled feedback much easier. The standard cable sounded and felt more restricted.
