You know, we've all given Kirk shit about his playing but......would you really do it to his face? He seems like a decent down to Earth dude. He seemed like a real fan with Schenker. Sure, Schenker plays circles around him but Kirk never has a Zakk Wylde type mentality where he has the need to compete note-for-note or anything. We know all about Kirk's vibrato but is it really that easy to change? Sometimes it's just the way some people play, kinda like your voice and you can't simply change it. If so, wouldn't we ALL have perfect vibrato like Schenker?
Sure, Kirk's playing will get elevated because he's in Metallica but, he IS in Metallica. He's doing something right.
