I had a regular Zuul, the one with just one knob. Worked great in the loop using the key input from a tuner pedal in front of the amp. Recently got a good deal on a used Zuul +, works way better. The two extra knobs seem to adjust how fast the gate clamps down and releases instead of just the threshold it gates at. Works great with my noisy ass rigs haha
