I had a pro rack G and it touched the low end response of my 5150 so I sold it.
No gate is perfect but transparency is a really important line item. It’s why I went down the path of developing a gate to begin with.

Didn't know you made them. I know theres a few amp and pedal builders here. Would be curious to try yours, that amp video clip you posted somewhere was pretty amazing tbh.
Edit: put your gate circuit in the amp?

Much thanks for the comments. I’m still tuning my prototype. Bigger low end. Tighter low end, but still smeary under the fingers with the gain jacked, and a dumb low noise floor.
I’ve also come up with a 2 knob clean channel - just a pre gain and master. No extra tubes. There’s always room for improvement
My gate is as fast as analog can go without going down the path of digital control logic and embedded programming/sampling like the big boys. Response times on the order of 10 us release and 50 us gate.
