Been getting back into playing my Modern after mostly using my Charvel for the past year for gigs. It's had a proper setup and fret dress and plays like a dream!

I've lightly modded mine with a graphite nut, black saddles and a Dimarzio Liquifire in the neck. Oh and a hairband to keep those strings dampened behind the nut, the only fault I found with it.

Beautiful guitar, Mikey! I've never owned a Suhr (or a Tom Anderson) - but have played examples of both at one of the higher end music stores and both brands feel amazing in your hands. I am betting this has a lot to do with attention to detail during final set-up before the ever leave the factory. Perfectly leveled and dressed frets + lowest possible action with zero buzz + perfect intonation = a guitar that just 'feels' completely different than 99% of anything else hanging on the wall at the store.
