It's gone now unfortunately. It was handily the best tele I've played. I couldn't have my cake and eat it too though. It went for a bucket list jmp 2203. The worst part being I can only imagine how they'd sound together.
I often wish I hadn't sold my JMP 2204 or 2203. You did the right thing. You can grab another Suhr Tele someday, and rock it thru that 2203.
May not as readily be able to grab a good JMP.

Been getting back into playing my Modern after mostly using my Charvel for the past year for gigs. It's had a proper setup and fret dress and plays like a dream!

I've lightly modded mine with a graphite nut, black saddles and a Dimarzio Liquifire in the neck. Oh and a hairband to keep those strings dampened behind the nut, the only fault I found with it.

Let's see yours!
I dig the sinister look of that.

That was the thought process that led me to do it lol. They're not cheap, but I can't say I've played another guitar that slick, and I'm a bit of a Gretsch fanboy. I haven't kept a telecaster since... I know what I need to do!

Not to derail the thread, but you might give Fender CS a look. I was not looking to spend $4g on a used guitar the day I found this.
But it plays and sounds so good, at least equivalent to Anderson and Suhr...I had to take it home. I love Suhr Teles, too!!
One piece, chambered mahogany body, big beautiful roasted flame maple neck, the best P90s ever...
I'd rather buy a Squier Classic Vibe than a production Fender. But some of their CS stuff is most splendid.

So I've never played a Suhr before, I've always wondered wha the necks on the Moderns (24 fret) feel like compared to a Jackson or a Charvel or even an Ibanez Rg prestige. (those are what's in my collection). One of my friends told me a Modern with a Floyd would be my "perfect" guitar.

You can order different profiles. I have a Modern Elliptical on my Koa Modern and a Slim C on my Custom Modern. I like them both. You can also get the bigger elliptical profile too. They are very comfortable. Similar to an EVH axis.

Beautiful!!

This is ancient. I custom ordered this in 2010 and got it in December of that year. I’m a sucker for orange and was stoked to spec this one out!

I’m a Les Paul guy and a non-shreddy and un-wheedly one at that. I used this for 1 set of 1 gig and decided I was WAY more comfortable on the R7 LP. Oh well. Got pretty close to what I paid when I sold it.

Beautiful

Some really guitars in this thread! Keep em coming!
Question: for all you modern owners,do you prefer the slim taper or asymmetrical neck and why? I'm looking to buy a modern at some point.
