Yes, that would be the plan. Something like a Suhr reactive load IR + rack wah+PCM+Eclipse+some pedals with a looper, stereo mixer and an SS stereo poweramp with two 1x12s.

I talked with Mesa’s factory support and they seemed not so happy about hearing my situation and how Gibson fucked it up. Mesa included quite a few Gibson managers in the e-mail but everyone from Gibson is hiding under a fucking stone. They fucked up and nobody takes responsibility. What a POS company.

The shop had gotten a confirmation from Gibson that they will get a IIC++ and the shop listed it. I bought it and after 2 months the order was cancelled by Gibson.

And yeah, if people would just step up and take responsibility to fix the problem, the world would be a better place. Hopefully, they're dealing with it internally, but I have little confidence that anything works that way anymore. You should be first in line if/when they come out with another C++, along with a hefty discount, IMHO.

I was obsessed with Lexicons for years and was very close to buying either 90, 80 or 96, but for the prices they sell for... I ended up finding a great deal on Axe FXIII and near looked back. These day you can get a VP4 for ~$400 and that can replicate all PCM effects very very closely. Sayin this I still think that Lex PCMs are sort of a legends and musical instruments on their own!

I've got a VP4 and it's a great unit capable of some great sounds. But it's not a Lexicon. Nor is it an Eventide.

Yeah the benefit of actual lexicon products isn’t so much the reverb algorithms themselves but the attitude of the DACs/ADCs and how they just make everything they touch more musical. The units themselves are as much of the tone as the algorithms they’re producing sound through.
