Retested, when I changed channels everything else worked fine. Guess I have something interfering with the channel I was on. Went upstairs into my mancave with the VHT CLX cranked downstairs, no worries.

Going to play an outdoor gig with it tomorrow for Cinco de Mayo, should be friggin' awesome. I may see how far I can travel before it cuts out. :)

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention I don't like - the cable from guitar to transmitter has a weird end on it. Anyone buying ANY wireless with a proprietary cable would be advised to buy a spare.

Agreed. I had that as my one and only complaint about the unit. I would've preferred it be fitted with a female jack on the transmitter pack, so I could use any cable I wanted.
Oh bummer. I thought I read somewhere that you could use any cable you wanted with the transmitter pack. Is it the same type connection that's used on the X2 model? I'm curious because I've got a Evidence Lyric cable with a silent Neutrik connector and a Mogami as a backup that I bought from lavacables.com for the X2. Will they work on the G50?

Nope, different cable on the X2. it's like a 1/8" stereo plug, the G50 is more like a small breakable version of a mic cable.

I think that might be the ta4f connector, I think. That sucks. I was thinking of upgrading from the stomp box x2 system I have and I just bought a new cable from Lava Cable for it. I think Lava makes cables with that connector as well.

I was told I'd be getting a replacement cable (Mogami, I think), and a replacement belt clip for the unit, but haven't yet. Look forward to it though...

I was one of the Beta Testers, so the unit I have isn't quite as up to date as the commercial released versions. i really do like the unit though, and recommend it.

Damn man, dont these companies listen to their customers at all?

We have all been complaining about proprietary wireless transmitter connections from the start.
I was also under the impression line 6 would use a 1/4" input.

At least the connectors are readily available so we can make our own cables.

Damn, screwed again. Well, I'll just have to keep using the X2 for a little longer since I just ordered the Evidence cable for it. I've barely had the unit a year anyway. I really do like it but the battery life just doesn't cut it. I barely make it through a 3 hour set.
