I'm pretty certain that's a bogus account. Screen name chosen to insinuate nationality. Immediately begins insulting Americans & using cliche English slang. Most likely an existing member of the forum.

Ok and the Young Brothers - but that's it.

Let's get this back on track...

* Steely Dan has some great songs and amazing musicians and (as a group) doesn't get the credit they deserve

* Carl Verheyen is a great guitar player, but, well, meh...

* KISS was awesome. When I was 16. In 1978

* Gene Simmons is a sub-par bass player and singer and a soulless marketing genius

* Paul Stanley is ghey. Has to be...

* I get far more enjoyment out of a well-crafted lick, fill, run or transition than any 10,000-note weedly, weedly solo

* "Tragic Comic" and "Stop The World" are brilliantly written songs

-The first 3 Coldplay albums were amazing, but now the band sucks

- Kirk and Lars were both really good back in the day, and nobody slated their abilities at the time. They earned their place at the table, and back in the day people were saying the same stuff about Iommi and Ward they just didn't have the internet to broadcast it. The bar gets raised people..
- AIC are just boring and depressing, but they do sound good.
- Production matters - drums that sound like cardboard boxes aren't cool (I'm talking to you 1960s)
- Carlos Santana has an awful guitar sound.
- Joe Bonamassa is nothing special.
- Ozzy (and Zakk) have done nothing good since No More Tears.
- Coldplay et al are for people who buy their music from gas stations
- Radiohead have been taking the piss since OK Computer
- Looks matter.

And when it comes to gear:
- Those 'jewel' topped knobs suck balls
- Wooden cavity covers look like they came off bad 70s furniture
- Looks matter (again)
 
It's ok to like a song, but not the band who plays it.
