Corrosion of Conformity with Pepper is the tits

5150/6505 series amps makes you feel stupid for buying a $3000 amp

A good distortion pedal can sound as good as an amp

In a blind test, you can't tell what amp, guitar, or pedal is which

People have wasted a lot of money buying amps so they can get some E-Cread on forums

Every time Charvel Dan posts pics of his gear I want to punch his fat face

Reza gives me the impression he lives in his parents basement

Rush sucks

AX7 have some good tunes

Songs not tone

No one cares about your "NGD" unless it comes with a review

Splawn is way overrated

All of this... Except the Splawn thing. They're nice amps at a much better price than others.

- Carlos Santana talks too much about nature and eagles flying and his guitar playing proves it
- Jason Newsted was not a good fit in Metallica
- Steve Vai has one or two good songs
- The "bearded, craft beer, band with 8 guys, bluegrass sound" has overstayed it's welcome by years

-Dave Friedman looks like Dave Gilmour
-I switch my amps from standby to on about 10 seconds after power up. Doesn't hurt the amp
-sweep picking is lame
-don't get amp names like 'Hairy Brown Eye', 'Pink Taco' etc... Next release will probably be the 'Mud Tunnel', 'Wonka Hole', or the 'Dirty Sanchez'
-does Steve K play guitar? Clips?
-time to take that Wizard Metal down off the classified ads
-Nathan at Eddies Guitars is a complete waste of jizzzzzz
-Doug Rapps lead guitar faces are hilarious!
-Doug Rapps is an amazing player
-Guthrie Govan doesn't shower

These are good.

Brian Wilson is a national treasure, one of the greatest songwriters this country has ever produced.
Jazz is America's greatest contribution to the world.
Jimi Hendrix's singing and songwriting easily trump his guitar playing.
My Roland Cube 30 is one of the best amps I've owned - paid $70 for it.
VH I is my least favorite of the Roth-era albums, ditto for the guitar tone.
Moving Pictures doesn't crack my top 10 favorite Rush albums.
VHIII really isn't that bad.
"Hip hop music" and "rap artists" are oxymorons.

Flame away.

Dave Friedman stole his BE mods from Mark Cameron...

List your musical opinions you know make people salty because it isn't their opinion.

-The musical opinions only really matter to the person holding that opinion.
-ALL clips of musical gear are actually useless when deciding to what to buy but fun to use when looking at things to buy.

- Dimebag was good, nothing amazing, shot to god status by dying, shredding pentatonics and doing divebombs isn't godly
- Most modern metal/rock recordings today sound the same, the singing usually is the indicator of what band you are listening to, not tone etc
- Mordern digital recording techniques save money and time but rarely produce legendary rock albums
- My favorite album by Rush is Power Windows
- Iron Maiden haven't produced a good album since Somewhere In Time
- EVH makes alot of mistakes live and I never liked his tone
- Most revived rock bands from back in the day make crap music now a days
- Too many people buy thousands of dollars on studio equipment and boutique amps... talk about how amazing their gear is... but never have any recordings
- I like gated and verby drums
- My best sounding guitar is a 250$ Les Paul copy with JBs, sounds better than the 1k+ LPs I've played and my friends own

Fixed.

Really? Have you really listened to Brave New World? There are some great tunes on there. I've seen Maiden twice in the past six years and one of the highlights for me of both of those shows was "Blood Brothers"... and I'm a fan going way back to NotB and PoM. I list most of their albums since Bruce came back. Final Frontier is a great album too. PoM will always be my favorite, but they've done some great stuff since the 80s (unlike the majority of other bands from that era).

Holy shit... I literally have NOTHING in common with some of you guys.

Oasis are shit, just came along at the right time
Indie music in general is awful
Modern rock is awful, even metal is formulaic with no originality
Keeper and axe fx still sound like they're plugged into a computer no matter what emulator is on them
Country rock still has the biggest and best talent pool out of any genre
Gibson and Fender haven't produced anything interesting or decent in 50 years
Prs guitars feel plastic no matter how expensive
Steve lukathers tone isn't that good now but is still one hell of a player

That's actually really therapeutic, I didn't mean to go that far, it just started spewing out!! :D

Yes, those Nashville cats kick the shit out of all of those hack classical, flamenco, and jazz musicians.

Good times, good times...

WHOAH!!! WTF???

AND I play in a Rush tribute. So I know the catalog pretty well.

Only the tip of my cynical iceberg..

AC/DC died when Bon Scott died
Def Leppard's sound IS Pete Gillis and Steve Clark
Dave Mustaine is a pompous ass and cant sing worth a shite
Mick Mars is an awesome guitarist
8 string down tuned guitars are retarded
Chugging the same old down-tuned Ola shite on a 7 string is stale AF
The greatest hard rock band in the last 25 years is Soundgarden
I can listen to Dream Theater for a maximum duration of 59 seconds
There are too many modern metal players using overly compressed & gained amps that sound like auto assembly line welding robot being gang raped
Black Sabbath Mob Rules album is heavy, even in 2016
Zakk Wylde is a much more lovable whilst drunk and mean
There are too many metrosexual gear collectors who live in expensive suburban houses equipped with a "recording studio" doing YouTube rig demos
The singer dude from Royal Blood slays on that bass thing guitar tone whatever you call it... guitar sound
Australia has a much better appreciation of what is good rock music vs. the USA
Adam Jones tone and riffs pee on 99% of recorded "metal" players
There will never be another metal guitar duo as good as KK and Glenn

-'Sweating Bullets' is far and away the most annoying tune in Megadeths entire catalog
-when asked by my local GC saleskid what guitar I play, and I tell him 'Suhr', he responds with 'Hey man, you don't need to call me Sir'
-all the fucken knobs, toggles and switches on the Cameron CCV. I mean, 2 fucken gain knobs????
-meeting the guy I sold an amp on Craigslist in the GC parkinglot and his face look like a tackle box
-Roy Clark has and will always have my respect as a musician
-can't stand Arianna Grande
-waiting for ultra-shit tone to become the rage - my Gorilla 10 watt and Peavey backstage plus are on deck!

- Guns and Roses were an overrated band who got big due to show rather than musicianship. Don't get me started on Bon Jovi.
- Alice In Chains is the best band of the 90s because their songwriting includes the craziest time changes and still is so damn congruent.
- I never really liked Gibson Les Paul's
- Some of the current best guitar players are playing Djent and they are awesome

Completely agree and for the price you can pick 'em up for... incredible.

Record companies got what they deserved... $18 CDs in the 90s?? Feel bad for the bands though.
Metal is for 17-22 yr old boys angry at the world
I'd rather be a great song writer rather than a great guitarist... I'm neither, lol.
Modelers will replace tube amps and the majority of people will not care
Pet peeves...
Your amp is the greatest amp you have ever played, especially in case you want to flip it 2 weeks from now.
Gear review ratings that never go below good. Something out there has to suck.
Pete Thorn Demos... stop making everything sound so damn good!!!
I've become that old guy buying all the expensive gear, that I hated when I was a kid, lol
