It is ingenious but I would never ever do something like that. For one, I wouldn't want built in delay and two, I don't like the back panels on my amps. I leave the back panels off. Granted I don't gig or anything, but I do like to be able to see my tubes and I also like to do preamp tube swapping on the fly. That seems almost impossible with a panel like that on the back.
