If you are a thrash fan, the Splawn boosted with a Maxon 808/808X is thrash heaven. I'll post a clip up tonight or tomorrow if I can.

Guys thank you so much and yes any clips you can post would be amazing!!!!!

If you really like the mark amps, and you really like the recto amps, why not combine the two?

I'm putting together another stereo rig and can't agree more with you, love the tight scooped tone my mk3 delivers, and love that big aggressive tone of a recto.

+1, a big one.

And again. Running two at once kicks all sorts of ass. Tho I like two different brands, two of the same kills it if you love that brand.

I will always advcate a pittbull ultra lead. Better have you picking hand tight.

Lets see,

So far you've been recommended to try a:
VHT
Diezel
Rhodes modded recto
Framus Cobra
Uberschall

Just come over to my house and have a run through each one.

I went from a Dual Rec to a Splawn Nitro. Never looked back.

lol where do you live rjf and do you have a splawn nitro by any chance too lol

I know its not the popular name by if you dig some of the rectos tones check out a PRS Archon
I was pleasantly surprised as the clips range from awful to somewhat decent lol
The amp in person is actually quite a bit better than clips show.
Its got the Thick Mesa distortion and a really Brit open roar to mids it's also pretty tight if you want it to be
lots of options as well 50 or 100 watts heads ,El34 or 6l6

The one I played the clean reminded me of a Mesa lonestar has it that low end response
Drive was Kinda Bogner IMO

awa man i'm all the way in Ohio darn!! Lol i can see it now "honey who's your new friend?" oh just someone i meant on rig talk dear" "what's rigtalk?" "you know that website" "You met him on the internet!?!?" lol
