Retro Channel may run into a problem with Guytron/GDS Amplification. By what he's described, it sounds like Bob Gjika used Guytron's patented GT100 circuit for his preamp design.

Technically, all attenuators which use an internal amp are possible candidates for Guytron patent infringement. This would be Bad Cat 'The Leash', Ultimate Attenuator, and any other attenuator that re-amplifies the signal.
