The clean channel on the Mark V is amazing, while the clean channel on the 5153's to my ears was flat, 2 diminsional and uninspiring. Something to seriously consider if you are playing tunes in which your clean needs to be just as high in calibre. A ton of bands in my area use 5153's and when a song in their setlist that calls for a downshift to clean, it can be hard to listen as the mighty high gain roar of a 5153 transitions to a frail and weak clean passage.
My Mark V can get an amazing clean the drips and chimes with 3D like sonic bliss. Inspiring as hell.
Keep the Mark V
