Wow! Didn't seem like that long ago I posted this, however, wanted to report back I did get this cab - received just after Christmas - put a Celestion V-Type in it and it sounds fantastic. Excellent match to my JCM 900 4101 and sounds great with my 1923, as well.

The last two 1912's I had came from GC used inventories from across the country. Both were a little beat, but looked great from 10ft. away.

Side note: if you think used 1912's are hard to find, try locating a 6912 (blue 30th Anniv. 1x12 that matches the 30th combo). Unicorn cab.

I have 2 Marshall 1912 1x12 cabs. One is a black vinyl JCM 900 1912 that I bought from a local seller on Craig's List for $250.00. The other one is blue vinyl 1912 cab that I pair with my 30th Anniversary 6101 combo amp. Even that was hard to find when I bought it from Guitar Center in 1993 as I was trying to find an original 6912 cab with the Celestion G12 Gold S-303 speaker ( a relabeled EV12L speaker). That speaker came stock in the European version of the Marshall 6101 1x12 combo amps and 6912 1x12 cabs.
