Hmmm... wonder how much they're going to want for those? Surprised they haven't done it before now with all of the demand out there for 'em.

MSRP is ~$2600. So about price of a clean used one.

Gotchya. Thanks. I just stumbled on that other thread with a link to a Premier Guitar article on it.

I wonder if it'll be a limited edition. I hope not. And I hope they didn't "improve" it

This kind of negates the "other" SLash signature amp they were working on doesn't it? Slash will just buy 6 of these and call it a day.

Slash hasn't used Jubilee's for anything but clean tones in years. He's currently using slightly modified 2203x's for most everything.

If indeed it actually comes out, I'm going to buy one. Anyone who appreciates that tone would be remiss not to buy one.

Maybe it's just me.....but it's not how I expect it to sound

Doesn't sound much like my old Jube's I've owned. Way too fizzy/muddy. Hopefully it's just a bad demo.

Rear panel is different. Mine only had two speaker outs with an impedance switch. I wonder what transformers they are using.

The demo sounded great to me, but I don't understand why they didn't just release it as a 50th Golden Jubilee in black with some gold trim, would go perfect with their 50th anniversary cabs they released at the same time.
I can see why it would get yawns though, just another roaring Marshall ;)

Well, that's my favorite Marshall including all the modded ones I've had. I thought it sounded great, maybe fizzy but when you crank em bye bye fizz. Sounded like my old jube at low volume. I've got a silver combo on hold at a GC...couldn't help myself lol...excited for the reissue.

Yeah, odd that they completely changed the rear panel. But everything back there on the original is connected with flying leads I think, so they could have simply rearranged things and changed the speaker outs without messing with any of the real guys like the board and transformers.

They should reissue the 2553 as well. With all of the hype around smaller, lunch box-style amps, the 2553 would be a great option.

I thought the brief time he played on low power sounded much better and articulate..

I thought the demos sound OK, not great not bad.... but I bet these are prototype models, and the production line will have junk components like the AFD...

And they're doing another Slash sig amp? What is it?

And I did know Slash uses the Jub for cleans now.... but I thought he was using AFD prototypes for his dirty sound? When did modded 2203X's start?
