Just following your lead. You seemed to be comparing a new Wizard to this 'PCB' Marshall. Wizards are amazing amps, but they are also 4k.....little different price point. That's all....carry on......

Lol...wizards new are double the price of this Jubilee. Hell, used they are 3k or more. For that cash it better not be PCB...no doubt Wizards are great amps. But different price point clearly. For those of us who like a Jubilee tone this amp is exciting. Especially when an original 2555 will go for 3k and yes...it is also a dreaded PCB amp!
You're obviously attempting to make a point here, though I am baffled as to what it is, and why? Why do you keep railing about the price difference between a Wizard and a Marshall? :dunno:
You reference having a wizard vs the 1-2k less Jub.
Reading and writing comprehension suggests you were making that point too me as well.
A 3k Wizard likely has a bit more than the 1800 Jub and honestly is a whole different animal.
If you don't like the Reissue that's cool but many seem quite interested.

I never mentioned price differences between Marshall and Wizard... Racerxrated did. I merely stated that if I were going to invest money into a new amp, it would be a Wizard.

Yeah my bad...its all good. I have to say that the best LIVE tone I've heard was from the Wizard that Ben from Pretty Reckless uses...saw them twice last year and killer tone. But back on point...I can't wait to pick up a new 2555x! It'll be the second new amp ever. 5153 50 has been the only new amp I've bought...always used for me usually.

I could have gotten a Wizard last month, but I purchased a three pickup LP Custom instead.

Preordered! Can't wait. Speaking of Wizards, that used Metal was in the classifieds for all of a day I think lol....

Tough choice.
Wizards are Amazing but at 3k-4k not an option for me.

Yeah, I suppose I could sell a bunch of stuff and get a Wizard, used....but then I'd have one guitar left lol....I like having a few toys instead of just one....

Did you pre-order from musicians friend? I think music123 will not charge tax right? I never buy new so any tips you guys can give as to best price let me know!

I sold a few items locally to get the scratch... The price was too good to pass up. I always wanted a black 70's Norlin era 3 x pickup custom. Mine isn't a Norlin, but it's made to the same specs. It's not as heavy, but that's okay with me.

You folks judging an amp based off a YouTube recording, you really make me laugh. Sure a demo is enough to get somebody interested in the amp, but to say it doesn't sound like the old ones? C'mon. Play one for yourself before you make statements like that. Sure, I agree it is not a good demo, but that wouldn't stop me from trying one if I had the chance. That demo makes it sound like my old MG does in person (terrible!). I highly doubt Marshall of all amp companies would release an amp like that if it truly sounded awful.

Let's just be patient and wait until they arrive at our favorite stores. ;)

There are a few vids out there now... the marshall rep is playing guitar so its not going to be a polished affair with a pro player etc... sounds like a jubilee to me.

They released the TSL ... They had to know that sucked moose cock didn't they ?

Really looking forward to this. Wish it came in black and that the cab was cheaper, but I think it's the same price as the 1960AV. $1899 is a great street price for the amp. I paid that for my JVM HJS a few years ago before the price hikes.
Is it something new? I guess not but people wanted it. Marshall can't really stray too far from its core tone.

I agree, it would be like Harley Davidson not using 45 degree V twins and going with shaft drive! fuel injection was bad enough though

Sounds great!!! There's now a handful of vids. I'm loving this and all over it! Haven't been this happy about a marshall since the yjm100.
Getting one for sure. $1800 is a no brainer.

I'm getting one! I'll shit-can the V30's, and toss-in a set of G12H 55Hz drivers for some hard rockin' goodness. :)
