Just following your lead. You seemed to be comparing a new Wizard to this 'PCB' Marshall. Wizards are amazing amps, but they are also 4k.....little different price point. That's all....carry on......
You reference having a wizard vs the 1-2k less Jub.TrueTone500":2x9uv0x1 said:You're obviously attempting to make a point here, though I am baffled as to what it is, and why? Why do you keep railing about the price difference between a Wizard and a Marshall?Racerxrated":2x9uv0x1 said:Lol...wizards new are double the price of this Jubilee. Hell, used they are 3k or more. For that cash it better not be PCB...no doubt Wizards are great amps. But different price point clearly. For those of us who like a Jubilee tone this amp is exciting. Especially when an original 2555 will go for 3k and yes...it is also a dreaded PCB amp!![]()
I never mentioned price differences between Marshall and Wizard... Racerxrated did. I merely stated that if I were going to invest money into a new amp, it would be a Wizard.V-Type":4fo549dh said:You reference having a wizard vs the 1-2k less Jub.TrueTone500":4fo549dh said:You're obviously attempting to make a point here, though I am baffled as to what it is, and why? Reading and writing comprehension suggests you were making that point too me as well.
A 3k Wizard likely has a bit more than the 1800 Jub and honestly is a whole different animal.
If you don't like the Reissue that's cool but many seem quite interested.
Tough choice.TrueTone500":2u2odwep said:I could have gotten a Wizard last month, but I purchased a three pickup LP Custom instead.

I sold a few items locally to get the scratch... The price was too good to pass up. I always wanted a black 70's Norlin era 3 x pickup custom. Mine isn't a Norlin, but it's made to the same specs. It's not as heavy, but that's okay with me.V-Type":injuurhk said:Tough choice.TrueTone500":injuurhk said:I could have gotten a Wizard last month, but I purchased a three pickup LP Custom instead.
Wizards are Amazing but at 3k-4k not an option for me.

Is it something new? I guess not but people wanted it. Marshall can't really stray too far from its core tone.
