I'm also unsure as to why people are bashing this amp based on a few crappy youtube vids. There are others where it sounds good. Listen, Marshall is not a stupid company, they wouldn't give it the name without it sharing all the DNA which made the original so popular. My question is, does the jubilee more or less share the same guts as the 2205? Always liked the tones of both amps. Price point is reasonable too. The things they have added are improvements. External bias points should be no brainers nowadays. Such a pain in the ass to take my 800 and 2204 clones out of the head shell.

So the big question, what is Slash going to play now? Too many choices: #34, his AFD, his gold/black jubilee sig, a real jubilee, this new secret sauce redesign 800 etc..

Slash purchased one of the 2015 NAMM SJ amps, so...

I'm looking at this also.

I'm getting one! I'll shit-can the V30's, and toss-in a set of G12H 55Hz drivers for some hard rockin' goodness. :)
G12 65s sound killer with Jubes also...

Not a tech but these 2 amps(2205, jubilee) are very different sounding. 2205/10 sound like a nice 800 with a pedal built in. Had an 87 that sounded killer....Jubilees have a different 'growl' to them. Darker, but still warm like a Marshall. They say Jubes are smoother but I feel they are aggressive in a different way than a JCM 800. Awesome tone.

That's interesting. I've played quite a few 800's, but only one Jubilee. I remember the Jubilee had a more refined sound, but that could have been the cabinet.
