Medium output alnico pickup w grind and sizzle of ceramic?

I'm thinking about this same combo for a LP, but with the neck magnet swapped to an AIII or A4. Sometimes I need that middle position to get my Jimmy Page on.

I have a Blues Heritage set that is laoded with A5s that also tends to sound good with other mags but the A5s work extra well together in the middle position on an LP.

If you get A4s - I would probably go with a Session Pro Neck and a Road Pro IV Bridge. Really nice set (I have a set of the RP4s).

If you want that almost Tele like/super strat sounding middle position - the Blues Heritage does it really damn well as they come (A5s). Probably the best middle position I have heard on an LP or many guitars in general.
