Is the IV self biasing like the Mark III was?
Just plug and Play as long as they are Mesa tubes?

Its has a fixed bias like the III. Mesa tubes work or ask your tube supplier for mesa spec'd tubes

Call Bob at Eurotubes. I am not a fan of JJ, but for the Mesa, their 6L6GC and E34L rock. Bob or Jay, and one other guy there, know MKIV's, If I can remember without looking at my boxes you want 50 + grade of E34L, and a 60+ for the 6L6. He tests an burns thoroughly.

I just saw a used Mark IV combo on Guitar Center's used gear section for $999.99.

I like the II and III with EL34/6L6. The IV with all 6L6 better.
