That does sound killer..danyeo":g1rvws0q said:You know many will disagree with me here but......if you take a Stage 2 or an Ace and put it on a good cab, tweak it right, and boost it with a good OD it can stand up to the modded Marshalls of the world like the Camerons and whatnot.
Obviously he's boosting it, has delay going, and sounds like a chorus and it sounds loud. But is this not some serious ripping 80's tones?
That's the vid that inspired me to get the stiletto trident (stage II) that I used to own. It was a really great amp, but my Wizard just sounded a lot better when I AB'ed them. Still, SUPER underrated and one of the best marshall-type amps that I've tried.danyeo":1g1aq19w said:You know many will disagree with me here but......if you take a Stage 2 or an Ace and put it on a good cab, tweak it right, and boost it with a good OD it can stand up to the modded Marshalls of the world like the Camerons and whatnot.

I bought a Trident when Guitar Center was Green Tag blowing them out the door.
Think I snagged it brand new for $1100.00 out the door.
Should be able to grab a used one cheap.
