To all of our fans and friends...

We regretfully announce that Metal Church is calling it quits.

The performance at Rocklahoma will be our last show. We have had to cancel the shows scheduled for August and that, among other things, has led us to have to make this decision.

There has been far too much frustration and disappointment in trying to keep moving forward. The collapse of our record company, SPV, has made it next to impossible for us continue in any kind of professional manner due to lack of tour support. This decision was not made lightly.

We do have unfinished business in the studio, and with any luck we will have something that will be of interest to Metal Church fans in the near future.

We would like to thank all the fans that have stuck with Metal Church through all these years, the line-up changes and the ups and downs.

We can't tell you how much your support has meant to us, we appreciate each and every one of you.

It's been a great ride.

Metal Church

I kinda wanted to go that rocklahoma festival (only the first day), probably won't though

i know this is months old

can't believe it got no replies

shame on you people

I wanted to go to that show (the lineup for that day was metal church, saxon, overkill, anthrax, leatherwolf, and anvil), I had some shit going on that I couldn't leave though

that festival is mostly hair stuff though (guitarslinger would love it)

My band back in the late 80's covered the title track and "God's of wrath".

here's a quote from a guy on another board where i post
Dale Crover lived 2 blocks away from Craig Wells. Him and I would go over there and listen to Iron Maiden and smoke bong hits when we were in 6th grade. Once at Stricker's house we ran into Vanderhoof, probably about the same time he was in The Lewd.

I thought Metal Church broke up at the end of the 80's.

I'm good friends with their singer Ronny Munroe. He's doing some solo stuff. If you get a chance to see him live you should, He's REALLY good!
