Metallica/Megadeth tour??

Can someone photoshop a Megadeth album cover with Golum Mustaine and Vic Rattlehead (as Sauron) with Mordor in the background, and inscribed on the ring he holds is "I used to be in Metallica once"

Dave wants it to make everything right between the two!! He wants to hang out, although with so much hurt and misunderstanding in the past it might be hard. i still say therapy might be a better path, but what do i know

This would be the closest thing to Dave feeling like he's still part of Metallica; to be able to play "his" (thier) song again with them. To be able to play it again with them would give him so closure so he can finally rest in peace when the day comes. It's the circle of his life.

i'm only on board if they close the show every night with a set of Kill em All songs with Dave on lead guitar. hit the lights, jump in the fire, phantom lord, and end it with the mechanix.

It would sell out if it happened and everybody here bitching about it would buy a ticket so don't kid yourselves.

i would if i could afford it. i got a $500 pair of metallica tickets for free from my boss at work and thats the only reason i was able to see them on the 72 seasons tour. i've been priced out of arena/stadium shows.

This already happened around 2011 during Metallica’s 30th anniversary celebration concerts. It was very cool and went off rather well but revisiting this again feels like flogging a dead horse.

I hear ya there...groeries and bills or a concert....groceries and bills or a concert. Food is good, not every concert is. lol

Don't lie, you would be camped out in a tent overnight in front of the ticket center to make sure you were first in line to have Hetfield and Mustaine sign each of your tits. :ROFLMAO:

Kidding...

No joke, my 25th high school reunion was a few weeks ago and barely anyone showed up, I gotta believe it’s because all of them already gathered at Metallica over the summer with their kids, I couldn’t believe how many “normies” as we called non metal heads were posting from Metallica on social media, how Metallica got these people to go see them is a mystery to me, but pretty impressive lol

In defense of soccer moms gone Metallica - I was a metalhead but loved the preppy girls in the 80’s. They were into Duran Duran, The Clash, Go-Go’s, etc. Nonetheless, they all loved metal when we hung out..all of them, without exception. Even if it just made them laugh. The non metal dudes at that time wore funny clothes and eyeliner with stupid hair. Metallica was refreshing and legit af. They weren’t singing about mystical dragons and the devil nonstop.

100%.

I wish they would release those 30th Annivery gigs as a full Concert video. Surely they captured it all and have the footage and audio sitting on a shelf somewhere. Such a unique event and collection of guest artists and songs they had almost never played live before. I can only imagine they are holding off on it until later date on after they retire, or perhaps a legal issue from release permissions.
Dave managed to kill off the remaster/release of the 'No Life til Leather' demo tapes because Lars was being a dick about money/credits apparently. Maybe some folks aren't willing to sign off on those performances being released?, although I would presume all those permissions would have been signed off prior if they were smart.
It's a pity as I thought they were all in (relative) good playing form back then, better than now anyway, and there were some good deep cut songs. I could forsee a multiple disc Blu-ray box set with all four nights performances and all the bonus footage/info on how they brought the whole project together.

Who knows?

My moneys going to take my dad to AC/DC this summer . His fav band he’s never saw and at his fav place Ohio State stadium . It hold 105, 000 .. interesting to see how much they fill it

Zero chance of this happening. When it comes to Metallica, Dave vasilates back and forth routinely between "I love those guys...they're my brothers" to "they are all liars, who cheated me and stole my songs". Bands are lined up around the block for an opening spot with Metallica, I doubt that they'll be interested in a jealous ex-girlfriend with borderline personality disorder and a well documented attitude problem. Dave has had a very solid career, he should stop demeaning himself by constantly talking about Metallica. Just my thoughts.
they did it in 90s and the big 4 . I think it’s possible with it being Daves last tour at some point
