I signed up on the Rig Talk forum to specifically respond to this thread topic. What I'm hearing is mostly Metro Amp butt kissers and arsehole lickers. I could care less about the name calling and slandering. I'm a truth teller even when the truth is not in fashion. The best way to solve this issue is to start a thread asking all banned Metro Forum members to post their 2 cents worth about what they really think about the Metro Forum. I'd like to see Magic Mike defend his "defenseless" position then. However since this forum is owned by George's buddy maybe we need to start that thread on another "neutral" forum to remove all doubt entirely. Even a numbers poll to see exactly how many X Metro members have been booted would be rather "enlightening". Speaking of enlightening, when I was on the Metro forum I was never called on the carpet ever, MM and George never had to say one word to me which is another point of conjecture as well.

I like what I do, and make a good honest living. I'm gratefull, and have no complaints.... Just goals to acheive. I see some beautiful places in the USA and Canada. Plus my top bunk has 2 amp projects. A Jtm45/100 endblock, and a 12000. What's not to like?

I'm sure that you love what you do, and I'm not talking about your job either. You know your members so well, you tell me which member I was. If you read my first statement you probably still couldn't figure it out because of your "blanket banning" policies. It's the same analogy of a person that lies so much that they can't remember what they've said or done. You've banned so many people like myself w/o explanation one that you're having a hard time "splaining away" Lucy. Even if you did come up with an "excuse" which is what it would be, and after the fact (I never once received a message from Metro notifying me of my banning or the reason) anything you would have to say now I would consider null and void. You had your chance then to defend your position, so any defense you could possibly offer up now you'd be pulling out of your ass. My response to you is, "No you can keep your shit I don't want it". However you have many friends and lovers here and on the Metro Forum that would gladly take and eat shit from you. What you did plain and simple doesn't fly, it never did and it never will, that dog absolutely WON'T hunt. Good luck however in your future endeavors as with business etiquette like yours you're gonna need it.

I'm gonna break my ignore rule just once to help you get over yourself.

Not counting spammers, I've only banned 5 or 6 people in the 8+ years I've been at MA. Only one person very recently, and he was not at all like the person you described, and we did talk about it.
This doesn't match your situation at all. If what you say is true, and nothing was said to you, then you have no idea who banned you.

I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that you were being truthfull, and was very polite to you initialy. I tried to find out who you were, only because I wondered if the site going down had anything to do with it, or if it was an IP issue like happened once before when a bunch of people couldn't log on the site. Maybe you could have been mistakenly banned as a spamer. So I offered to look into it, but for some reason you don't want to divulge who you were, and started flaming.

I don’t have time for childish guessing games, and quite frankly don't really care enough to play along.

It's clear that the status quo and personalities drawn to discussing EVH topics has not worked on metroamp. Frankly, I don't need the negativity and ill will. It serves no purpose for me, my products, my business or my online reputation. I'd just assume nuke that section and live happy geeking out on vintage Marshall tech stuff.

The site is back online, but we are not out of the woods yet. It looks like we will lose all the uploads posted on the forum. Still discovering stuff corrupted in the malware attack. The easiest path forward would be to wipe out lots of stuff and start clean. But I'm trying to preserve the important technical info complied over the years.

Know that all the bickering, abrasive, condescending, name calling bullshit is first on the chopping block. It serves no purpose for me, the advertisers or the community.

There are some posts here that need to be saved for future reference when said whacko posters go off again. Sort of a "So, on that Metro thread you said, now you're saying _________." type of thing.

Personally I couldn't care less, but it might deter some posters on this thread from thinking their "inflammatory" posts never were read/posted/said. I've seen that happen before. Once you forget the past you're doomed to repeat it.

Or if the past gets nuked.
