Since this post has your attention.. I see you use Eminence speakers in your Bass Cab's..
Any thoughts or opinions on maybe using them in one of your Afterburner cabs???

We have built several Afterburners using various EMI's. I recently loaded one of my straight cabs with Legends and Texas Heats in an X pattern and was very pleased with them. We basically added the Eminence and EV guitar lines as a response to feedback on our earlier exclusive use of Celestions. Some guys seemed to think this was somewhat limiting and we responded. But at the end of the day, 99% of our requests are still for Celestions even though the EMI's sound great and save quite a chunk of $$. Eminence is a VERY good product and a great Company. I'd have no hesitation in putting any of their speakers in any of our guitar cabs. And for our bass cabs they are a perfect fit.

I had one of Davids 2x12 cabs in Orange and it was unbelievable, same tone as a 4x12 and I know everyone always says that but this time it was true. Ran it will my Soldano SLO and it sounded HUGE. You wont be disappointed!

Have a Mills 2X12 B in Black with V30's. Still breaking in the speakers. Best built cab I have ever played. Bought it specifically for my SLO 100 so I am glad to hear others have had good experience with it. Sounds nice; and can take anything I can dish at it. Dave is super nice to deal with. Would say definitely worth the wait for the build time.
