I somewhat agree with this... I've got an original '67 Marshall SLP which I run thru a early '70s Marshall 4X12 with H30s, and it pretty much is THE holy grail tone as far as plexi tones go. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

but the Mills kills for high gain. Literally.
