Glad to hear the surgery went well, I hope Odin has a speedy recovery. My cat will eat string as well if he gets a hold of it but luckily it has never caused any problems.
I am still giving you Mojo. My two cats, Patches and Missy are very important to all of us, my wife, and both my daughters. Patches is asleep on our bed and Missy is asleep on my oldest daughters bed right now as I type this. You hang in there and odin will be kickin your butt again real soon.

Glad to hear that all worked out well. One of my Cats, Zakk, ate a B string. When I found him, there was maybe 6" of it hanging out of his mouth and the rest was in his stomach and intestines, the Xray of it was freaky. The surgery bill was 2k but it was worth it because as was mentioned before, my animals are family. He came through just fine and Im much more careful because he loves playing with the strings. I also have insurance on my pets now, it costs a grand a year for 4 cats but its more than worth it because vets aint cheap here in the city...
One of my cats (now deceased) used to eat wrapping ribbon, until I wised up and kept it away from her. On more then one occasion though, I found a piece of it hanging out of her ass! It was both disgusting and hilarious to see her walking around the house with ribbon dangling out of her ass, as you can imagine. I did actually manage to pull it out once, but that was no fun. Thankfully she never got it wrapped around her intestines...
Glad to hear everything went well. Sorry I didn't check this in time to send mojo!
My friend just lost their dog for three days and was absolutely sick...wouldn't eat anything the whole weekend, just laid in bed. Someone spotted him last night and chased him down and caught him! All good now.
